The PAK Explorer allows you to create, browse and modify *.PAK files (compressed archives) used by Battlezone 2.

Depending on the size of the PAK file you are assembling a large amount of disk space is required on the drive that contains your TMP folder! ZWP archives (Dark Reign 2) are also supported.

Note: You can view only files that have a viewer associated with them.

To create a file association:
  1. Unpak the file that you want to associate with a program (ie: .pic files)
  2. Double click on the file, and select the program that you want to use to view the files (ie: XnView)
  3. Make sure that the 'Always use program to open these files' box is checked, and click 'OK'.
  4. You can now view these file types in PAK Explorer.
